Peggy sent this old c. 1860's tintype that was among several others in Rosa WHEELER BARRETT's photo album. Several surnames could be connected with this photograph. WHEELER, McINTIRE, BARRETT and McCOY are possibilities. These people lived in central Illinois during the Civil War. The BARRETTs lived in Highland County, Ohio at the start of the war until about 1862 when they moved to Peoria, Illinois. |
