Charlotte HILFERDING (nee VENKER) sent this lovely photograph of her late
grandmother, Henrietta Frederica KROLLMAN VENKER. Not much is know about
Henrietta except that she was born around 1899 and according to the Baltimore
census of April, 1920 she lived on Eastern Ave. with her father, George
KROLLMAN, younger sister, Anna C. KROLLMAN (HOYT) and brother, George KROLLMAN.
In June of 1920, Henrietta married James Henry VENKER Sr., and in June of 1921 she
gave birth to Charlotte's late father, S/Sgt. James Henry VENKER Jr.,
USAF(Ret). On August 27,1922, her Grandmother passed away in her sleep, at the
age of 23.
