These two photographs were sent by Rob WASTELL. They are the engagement
photographs of Edward (Ted) GROVES and Alice Lillian PERRY and were taken in
London, England in 1906. Both were 19 years old at the time of their
engagement and they were married on Christmas Day 1908. They had 4 children.
Ted served in WWI and was discharged in 1917, after suffering a severe head
wound from a German sniper. They both lived into their eighties.
