The back of this photograph is richly decorated with a royal crest topped by a
crown.
Somewhat below one can find the name of the studio: Atelier Kral
Near the bottom are two addresses:
Gumpendorferstr. 83 and XIV. Raindorfgasse 36.
Someone has written something on the back of the photograph in German Script
but the words carry accents that are not commonly used in German.
I believe the language is an Eastern European one and not German.
